FurnCSR accomplished one of its crucial task: more than 50 experts, coming from different EU and extra EU Countries validated the Corporate Social Responsibility Guide for the furniture sector developed by CENFIM, through an in-depth survey, made up by different tasks.

The survey aims to ensure that the guide content and the good practices identified are appropriate for helping furniture sector SMEs in the implementation of their CSR deployment, covering all the relevant aspects and topics.

All the respondents gave their feedback throughout different sections of the surveys:

– They scored a selected list of concrete good practices relevant for CSR in furniture industry, according to the social, environmental and economic identified parameters

– They identified at least three CSR good practices in the expert field of expertise, deployed (or applicable) to furniture sector companies, from companies or research centers operating in the furniture industry

– They answered to a short survey on training needs related to CSR practices, in order to define the main requirements in terms of skills, knowledge and competences for the future CSR manager in the furniture industries.

The results will be commented in July, with a small panel of experts, during an online workshop led by the project Partners and some of the external experts involved from the very beginning of the project.

The experts involved in this project phase belong to different field of expertise:

  • Thematic experts in Corporate Social Responsibility, Vocational Education and Training, Occupational Health and Safety, Circular Economy, Digitalization and/or Human Resources;
