On the 16th of September 2021 we held online the FurnCSR kick-off meeting. The FurnCSR project aims to provide EU furniture sector companies with guidelines and specific tools to deploy Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Shared Value and enabling to bring their highest benefits. This first meeting was used to present and share views on the project activities and define a common methodology. The Project will leverage a Shared Value approach to build more equitable, safe, healthy, sustainable and competitive furniture companies.

The Project is going to start with a preparatory phase to plan all the activities, identify the proper stakeholders group and activate the call of few external experts, that will support and validate the main outcomes of the project, thanks to their different and complementary expertise.The partners that participated were the lead partner CENFIM (Home & Contract Furnishing Cluster and Innovation Hub), the three partners  FLA – FederlegnoArredo (the Italian Federation of Woodworking, Cork, Furniture, Lighting and Furnishin Industries), EFBWW (the European Federation of Building and Woodworkers), and UEA (Union Européenne de l’Ameublement).
